Bridges by EPOCH Gives Tips on Celebrating Holidays With Alzheimer’s Patients
On Monday, Nov. 26, Bridges by EPOCH will give an an educational session on helpful tips and information on how to enjoy a stress-free holiday with someone struggling with Alzheimer’s.
The holidays are a time to celebrate and enjoy good food, good cheer and good company. For people with Alzheimer’s, though, this time of year can be confusing and stressful. But there are many things that a caregiver can do to help a loved one with dementia adjust and enjoy the celebrations.
On Monday, Nov. 26 at 4 p.m., Bridges by EPOCH will give an an educational session on helpful tips and information on how to enjoy a stress-free holiday with someone struggling with Alzheimer’s. The session will be hosted by Executive Director Alicia Seaver, a certified memory-care specialist.
