Chef Wahlberg to Open New Hingham Restaurant in September

Wahlberg's new restaurant will open across from Alma Nove and include seating for 60-70 people.

Well known Hingham Chef Paul Wahlberg said his new burger joint is expected to open in early September at the Hingham Shipyard.

Wahlberg’s new restaurant will open directly across from his other family-owned restaurant, .

Although the new burger joint does not have a name yet, Wahlberg did say it would include seating for 60 to 70 guests and serve all natural burgers, all natural beef hot dogs, crispy fries, and frappes.

“We have a full feature bar, we have a fire place outside, a full patio... great music and just a great environment,” he said.

Wahlberg, who has lived in ,  is now trying to decide on the new burger joint’s name which he said will be decided on in the next few days. Many South Shore residents have even submitted some amazing ideas for the name, Wahlberg said.

The restaurant will be the same business structure as Alma Nove as Chef Wahlberg will be partnering with his two celebrity brothers, Mark and Donnie.

“It’s a family business,” Wahlberg said.  “I’m just so excited and so pleased and everybody’s been so supportive. I love living in Hingham.”
