Five Unlocked Vehicles Entered Over Weekend in Hingham

The stolen items included a knife, watch, flask, lacrosse stick, credit cards, pocketbook, sunglasses, and a GPS unit.

Police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins on three different roads over the weekend.

Residents reported five different vehicles had been entered on Porters Cove Road, Park View Drive, and Martins Lane from 11 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday night into Sunday.  Some vehicles had items stolen from them while others were rummaged through, Hingham police said.

The stolen items included a knife, watch, flask, lacrosse stick, credit cards, pocketbook, sunglasses, and a GPS unit.

Police said all five vehicles were left unlocked in a driveway before they were entered.

A Mercedes hood emblem was also stolen from one vehicle.
