Foster School will honor veterans next Friday with a school celebration.

Students are welcomed to invite family members and friends who are veterans.

As part of the celebration, the elementary school will have special boxes in the main hallway for cards, letters, travel size toiletries (bars of soap, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, combs, brushes), clothing (undershirts/plain white, socks, shoes, sneakers, boots), ballpoint pens, shower slippers, or pillowcases which they will be delivered to members of the military.

The school will also read the names of veterans in  the Foster School community who are listed on the school’s “Veteran Wall of Honor.”

All guests are encouraged to dress in patriotic colors or attire.
