Hingham Girls' Tennis Sweeps Competition

The Hingham girls tennis team has improved their record to 6-1.

The girls' tennis team shutout their last two opponent, defeating Quincy and Honover last week.

On Friday, the Harborwomen defeated Quincy, 5-0.  Hingham senior Julia Krumholz defeated Cat Tran  6-1, 6-0. Delaney Dunlap from Hingham defeated defeated Rachel Smith  6-0, 6-0, and Hingham’s Danielle Vanzura defeated Tonia Tonnu  6-0, 6-0.

In doubles competition, the dominant Hingham duo Nikki Lund and Kristen Ferrucci defeated LeAnge Li and Christine Tran of Quincy  6-1, 6-1 and  Hingham’s Ashland Stansbury and Allison McCarthy  defeated Emily Seto and Dao Nguiyu  2-6,  6-0, 1-0.

On Wednesday Hingham defeated Hanover, 5-0.  Krumholz, Dunlap and Vanzura all earned singles victories.  In doubles,  Lund and Millie Valero from Hingham defeated Lexi Conforto and Caroline Keenan from  Hanover  6-0, 6-0 and Stansbury and Maxine Bergstein from Hingham defeated Natalie Brenner and Michaela Cadigan from Hanover  6-1,  6-0

Hingham is now 3-0 in-league and 6-1 overall.
