Hingham Police Will Collect Unwanted Prescription Drugs
Hingham resident can come down to the Hingham Police Station on Central Street from 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sep. 22 and drop off unwanted prescription drugs at the Hingham Transfer Station.
The Hingham Police Department will collect unwanted or expired medicines, liquid, pills, prescriptions, and drugs this month.
Any Hingham resident can come down to the Hingham Police Station on Central Street from 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sep. 22 and drop off unwanted prescription drugs at the Hingham Transfer Station. There will be a pharmacist on site and no personal information or addresses will asked or collected.
The goal of this program is to encourage the safe removal and proper disposal of medicines that can be accessed by teenagers and others.
The event is supported by Hingham Centre Pharmacy, Hingham DPW and Hingham Senior Center in conjunction with our DARE program.
