Hingham Weather Man Predicts Up to 18'’ of Snow
Hingham should expect up to 18 inches by Saturday with high tides expected to rise over 11 feet.
Hingham Weather Forecaster Michael Page is predicting up to 18 inches of snow in Hingham by Saturday.
The local weatherman said Hingham will likely average 12-18" of snow, with the highest amounts falling in South Hingham and the lowest in North Hingham.
"It's not out of the realm of possibilities that parts of town, again mainly south, pick up close to two feet," Page said in an email to Patch.
In some towns away from the coast, he predicts up to two feet of snow.
Hingham residents should expect the flurries to start by 2 p.m. Friday, with an increase in intensity during the nighttime hours, Page said on HinghamWeather.com.
Residents should expect the storm to slow down by 8 a.m. Saturday, and end by the afternoon. The local forecaster also advises Hingham residents to watch out for coastal flooding with high tides expecting to rise to 10 feet on Friday night and 11’ 5’’ by Saturday morning.
