Local Jewelry Artist Brings Her Gems to Hingham

Framing Concepts Custom Framing & Fine Art Gallery in Hingham is pleased to welcome Liza Lentini of Liza-Jayne Jewelry as their exclusive jewelry artist.

Lentini, a jewelry artist and photographer from Braintree is now selling her creations at Framing Concepts’ new location at 105 South St. Framing Concepts moved into their new space in September.  According to the Hingham business, the expansion allowed for more gallery space and furthering opportunity to cater to customers’ on-going requests to peruse original artworks by local artists such as Lentini. 

Diana Aveni, owner of Framing Concepts believes adding Lentini's high-end, handcrafted jewelry was a natural progression.

At this time, Framing Concepts is the only store carrying Lentini’s designs on the South Shore, which are also featured in shops in Boston’s South End, the Hamptons, and several others across the country.

"Everything in there is 100 percent hand made from start to finish," Lantini said. "Some of the pieces are sterling silver cast from leaves and shells and items that I found in nature."

Many of the designs currently on sale are one-of-a-kind beaded items, featuring genuine gemstones in bright hues, including Lentini’s “Cluster Rings," a bouquet of beautiful gemstone briolettes attached to a sterling silver band.  Lentini, who has been making jewelry for 30 years, will be introducing new inventory to Framing Concepts’ customers on a regular basis.

She describes her jewelry as "well crafted" and "elegant" and said they can be worn to a cocktail party or holiday festivity.

Lentini, who grew up in Braintree and spent summers on the family’s home on Humarock Beach, is well-known for casting beach finds in precious metals and turning them into wearable works of art. Lentini, 39, studied pearl stringing and wax carving at the Studio Jewelers Jewelry School in New York City.
