Mark Wahlberg To Hold Private Showing For 'Broken City' at Hingham Cinema
Mark Wahlberg will be screening his newest movie at the Hingham Shipyard.
Actor Mark Wahlberg will be returning to Shipyard Drive.
The Hingham restaurant owner will screen his newest box office film “Broken City” at the Patriot Cinema in the Hingham Shipyard on January 15 p.m. at 7 p.m, according to WCVB. An after-screening party will then be held at Wahlburgers.
Wahlberg, co-owner of Alma Nove and Wahlburgers, is also holding a contest where fans can enter for a chance to win two tickets at celebritiesforcharity.org. The deadline to enter is Jan. 14. The private screening will be a fundraiser for the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation.
This will be the third time Wahlberg has showed one of his new movies in Hingham. In 2010, he held the showing of the “Other Guys” and the “Fighter” right at the Shipyard cinema across from his two restaurants.
Wahlberg last made an announced appearance in Hingham back in October 2011 for the grand opening of Wahlburgers when he brought over a half dozen Boston athletes with him to the Shipyard. The event attracted hundreds of fans to Shipyard Drive.
“Broken City” opens to the public on Jan. 18 and stars Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
