The upcoming opening at the Allerton House is in response to an overwhelming need for memory care services in Hingham.
Welch Healthcare & Retirement Group will open a new Memory Care Assisted Living Program at the Hingham Allerton House in Crow Point.
The program will be designed for older adults who have Alzheimer’s disease or a related memory disorder, PRWeb.com reported.
The Allerton House Memory Care Program will provide:
- Specialized, trained staff
- State-of-the-art secure environment
- Meaningful individualized activities
- Resident Assistants available 24-hours a day.
It is expected to open in Fall of 2013 and will feature 13 rental apartments, including 10 studios and three companion suites, according to PRWeb.
Richard Welch, president, Welch Healthcare & Retirement Group told PRWeb that the opening of the program is in response to an overwhelming need for memory care services in a supportive residential setting.
The opening comes just a year after Bridges By EPOCH opened on Sgt. William B. Terry Drive, Hingham. EPOCH is also a memory care assisted living community.
