New Seafood Restaurant Coming to the Shipyard
The Hingham Shipyard will get its first seafood restaurant, just in time for the summer.
The Union Fish Seafood & Raw Bar will open this upcoming spring at the Hingham Shipyard.
This will be the Shipyard’s fifth restaurant and first seafood restaurant.
The new dining spot will be attached to the Shipyard’s new condos and will open across from Wahlburgers and Alma Nove.
Union Fish Seafood’s menu will include traditional dishes including crab cakes, lobster rolls, and fried seafood to lobster mac-and-cheese and prosciutto-wrapped cod and haddock au gratin, according to the Boston Globe.
South Shore diners may be familiar with the Union Fish Seafood & Raw Bar as it has another location right on Union Street in Plymouth which includes takeout, walk-ins and live entertainment. The Plymouth location opened in April of 2011.
The new restaurant is owned by Boston-based restaurant group Dramshop Hospitality, according to the Globe, and will install the kitchen and décor over the next few months.
