A new sports apparel store will open at the Derby Street Shoppes this Friday with the hopes of getting South Shore residents suited up for the next big game.

Roster will open right next to the Sprint store on Derby Street.  The sports store specializes in all game day apparel and accessories, including the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, and Red Sox.

The store offers name and number t-shirts, jerseys, caps, and  sweatshirts of all the Boston sports teams.

Roster is owned by Colors Inc.  which owns a variety of regionally-themed specialty retail stores including four clothing stores at Faneuil Hall Marketplace.  In addition to the new Hingham store, Roster has four other locations in the state including one at the Natick Collection, Cambridgeside Galleria, Legacy Place in Dedham and the Marketplace Center on State Street in Boston.
