Alleged Hingham Burglar Has Case Continued in Court

Peter M. Clear, 36, of  Framingham had two counts of felony daytime breaking and entering, two counts possession of a Class B drug, and possession of a Class E drug continued to Nov. 20 for a hearing in Hingham District Court. The charges stem from a Sept. 20 incident in Hingham where police said residents of a Jarvis Avenue home encountered a stranger leaving their house and taking off running.

Larceny Case Continued in Court

Rachel E. Hines, 21, of 51 Maple St., Rockland had charges of larceny over $250 by single scheme and larceny over $250 continued to Nov. 20 for a hearing in Hingham District Court. The charges stem from a July 19 incident at Kohl's Department Store, 100 Derby St., in Hingham where authorities were investigating ongoing cash shortfalls totaling $640.

Avon Woman Fails to Appear at Court Hearing

Heather Rivard, 27, of 118 Pratt St., Avon was scheduled to appear in Hingham District Court for a hearing on charges involving conspiracy and larceny over $250 but failed to appear. A judge issued a warrant to have Rivard arrested. The charges stem from a July 10 incident in Hingham at 11:50 a.m. when police were dispatched to an East Steet address for a report of a larceny involving stolen tools and money.

Hull Man Faces Shoplifting Charge

Kenneth L. Kaplan, 61, of 73 Manomet Ave., Hull was arraigned in Hingham District Court on a shoplifting over $100 by asportation charge. The case was continued to Dec. 12. Kaplan was released on personal recognizance. The charge stems from a July 7 incident in Hingham at Stop & Shop, 400 Lincoln St. after police were informed of a shoplifter being detained for allegedly trying to steal $131 worth of store items.
