Police Log: Brockton Man Arrested in Hingham For Assault With Weapon
The following excerpt is from the Hingham police log from Monday, Nov. 19 to Tuesday, Nov. 20.
Monday, November 19:
At 7:13 a.m. the Hingham Fire Department responded to a smoking vehicle on Gardner Street.
At 11:54 a.m. police arrested Louis Peterson, age 30 of Brockton for two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The arrest was made at the intersection of Chamberlain Run and East Street.
At 2:15 p.m. a caller reported a laptop was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at the Fresh Market parking lot at the Shipyard.
Tuesday, November 20:
At 11:48 a.m. a caller at REI at the Derby Street Shoppes reported a customer is attempting to steal a bicycle.
