Police Log: Quincy Man, Scituate Woman Arrested For OUIs

Tuesday, January 8:
At 12:56 a.m. police arrested Gary Varner, age 51 of Quincy for operating under the influence of alcohol on Whiting Street.
At 1:40 a.m. police arrested Elizabeth Botchie, age 52 of Scituate for operating under the influence of alcohol on Summer Street.
At 10:52 a.m. a caller reported a dumpster in the middle of the road at the Main Street and Scotland Street intersection.
At 11:42 a.m. a caller reported a strong gas odor on James Street.
