Police Say Five Vehicles Damaged By Rocks Over Weekend
Five vehicles on five different Hingham roads were damaged by rocks Saturday night into Sunday
Hingham Police are investigating five different acts of destruction over the weekend.
Hingham Police Sgt. Steven Dearth said five vehicles were damaged by rocks Saturday night into Sunday. The vehicle windows were smashed on Colonial Road, Maple Street, Summit Drive, Rockwood Road and Volunteer Road
As with previous incidents in the past few weeks, rocks were found in the vehicle and nothing has been stolen. The majority of incidents have been reported to cars parked on roads between Thursday and Sunday.
Police believe the suspect or suspects are committing the crimes and then fleeing in a vehicle, based on the sporadic areas of town where all of the destruction has been caused.
One resident, on Maple St., recalled hearing a loud noise in front of their home between 10pm-11pm on Saturday night.
Anyone with information should contact Hingham Police.
