Popular Chocolatier Returns to Derby Street Shoppes

See’s Candies will bring its chocolate confections to the East Coast once again when its holiday store opens at the Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham—just in time for the holiday season. The California-based chocolatier will open shop at the former Atheneum space on November 10th, and will close at the end of the business day on Christmas Eve.

See's Candies is a premiere chocolate candy store that has been specializing in high quality chocolates and friendly, old-fashioned service since 1921.

The  chocolates are usually only available in a retail setting in the western states and are being offered in Massachusetts at the Hingham location.

Carolyn Kennedy, General Manager, Derby Street Shoppes  said the Candy shop generated a tremendous response when it came to the Derby Shoppes in 2009.

“ See’s Candies was among our top customer requests for this holiday season,” Kennedy said.

The distinctive black and white See’s Famous Old Time Candies stores offer over 100 varieties of candies. The company prepares their chocolates with no additives or preservatives and have maintained their reputation for excellence by strict adherence their "Quality Without Compromise" motto.
