Tim Wakefield and Local Celebrities Open South Shore Restaurant
The restaurant, "Turner's Yard" opened on Route 53 in Pembroke and is owned by Wakefield and Drop Kick Murphy's bassist/vocalist Ken Casey, Boston Bruins forward Shawn Thornton, and HGTV star Taniya Nayak.
Hingham resident and former Boston Red Sox knuckleball pitcher Tim Wakefield held a grand opening for his new Pembroke restaurant on Saturday night.
The restaurant, "Turner's Yard" opened on Route 53 and is owned by Wakefield and Drop Kick Murphy's bassist/vocalist Ken Casey, Boston Bruins forward Shawn Thornton, and HGTV star Taniya Nayak.
“ I’m proud to bring this restaurant to a community that truly deserves an excellent place to eat and drink," Wakefield said at the opening.

Saturday's grand opening was attended by Bruins legend Bobby Orr and local boxing great Mickey Ward.
The 6,000-square-foot restaurant, which includes a square bar, was open all night, and packed with fans, revelers, and photographers.
