Wahlburgers Looks to Start Fashion Trend for St. Patrick's Day

Popular amongst Facebook fans is Wahlburgers' new shamrock T-shirt. The shirt is similar to the one Mark Wahlberg had on at the restaurant's grand opening.

is already preparing for St. Patrick’s Day by selling shamrock T-shirts from their clothing section at the front of the store.

The white shamrock t-shirt is similar to the one Mark Wahlberg wore at Wahlburger’s Grand Opening in October except it has the Wahlburgers logo printed on the bottom left side of the shamrock.

The T-shirts can be found at the Hingham Shipyard restaurant and have been on sale since the end of February.

"The Shamrock T-Shirts have been a huge hit with our guests and our staff," said Wahlburgers manager Michael Finneran. "They are a special edition for the holiday and we look forward to seeing them around Boston during the St. Patrick’s Day Parade."

Wahlburgers  has posted the picture of the shirt on their Facebook Page and over a dozen fans have already expressed interest in buying one.

One Facebook user wrote  “Oh boy I needed another Wahlburgers shirt :)” while another wrote “I have it! Bought it last week when we went to the restaurant. It is sooooo comfy!”

This week, customers will  be able to purchase the new T-shirts at the Hingham location  and Lauren Hardy, who handles marketing for Wahlburgers, said the shirts will be available online starting today, March 9.

"Customers are loving this new item,"  Hardy said. "There is big buzz for it online."
