Wahlburgers Names CEO, Plans to Expand
The Shipyard burger joint may be opening a location in Boston soon.
Hingham chef Paul Wahlberg and brothers Mark and Donnie named a new CEO for Wahlburgers and they are planning on expanding their burger joint.
Rick Vanzura, a former Executive Vice President and co-Chief Operating Officer of Panera, will take over as CEO of Wahlburgers, according to restaurantnews.com.
According to the article, Vanzura will focus on growing the Wahlburgers brand and has plans to open more nationwide beginning in the Boston area.

I think the best place to open a new Wahlburgers is near Fenway Park. It would not only have a great local customer base, but it will also be a huge tourist attraction.

I would love to see it in Southie. It's really up and coming and the Wahlburgs are loved there. Seaport isn't Southie to the natives, but it's the next best option.

I need one in nyc!! Better yet in Bklyn next to the new & up coming Barclays Center. It will do well with so many future concert & sports events coming starting this September. Just a thought
