Wahlburgers Sues Former Business Manager

Mark, Donnie and Paul Wahlberg are suing their former business partner and claiming the Hull resident diverted some of the money to another restaurant he was hoping to open.

The Wahlberg brothers are suing their former Wahlburgers business manager Edward St. Croix for “improper conduct.”

The suit, filed Oct. 25 in Suffolk County Superior Court, alleges that St. Croix, who lives in Hull and worked with the company until June, did an “abysmal” job,  “failed to meet even the most basic duties as business manager,” the Boston Globe reported.

According to the Globe, Walburgers is claiming St. Croix was “incompetent and unqualified” to handle issues related to bookkeeping, obtaining licenses and permits, and raising capital.

The article also stated he obtained investments in a “haphazard fashion” and diverted some of the money to another restaurant he was hoping to open.

In June, Wahlburgers appointed Hingham resident Rick Vanzura as their new CEO.
