What Chef Wahlberg is Cooking Up Next in Hingham

The Hingham Chef plans to open a pizza restaurant at the Hingham Shipyard by the end of the year.

Chef Paul Wahlberg is planning to open a new pizza restaurant at the Shipyard by the end of the year.

The restaurant will be named Pizzeria Diciannove and will be Wahlberg’s third to open in Hingham since June of 2010.

Chef Wahlberg said Pizzeria Diciannove will have "true Neapolitan pizza" with homemade toppings cooked in brick ovens.  The restaurant will also have a full liquor license.  The Hingham chef said the new pizza parlor will only serve full pizzas and not by the slice.

Pizzeria Diciannove is expected to open by the holiday season.

Chef Wahlberg and his two celebrity brothers Donnie and Mark own located on the waterfront of the Shipyard and are planning to open in September, which will be located across the street.

Hingham Shipyard owner Jane Hirsh said she was very proud of Wahlberg’s success at the Shipyard and describes the Hingham Chef as very hardworking.

Wahlberg, born in Dorchester has lived in Hingham for 11 years.  His restaurant Alma Nove was just awardedby Boston Magazine in the Best of Boston issue released in July.
