Brigham's wants patrons to post photos from the store on their Facebook page.
Before Brigham's in Hingham Square becomes Patti's Place, they are asking customers to share their memories and photos of the ice cream store. "If anyone out there has taken pictures in the store - eating your favorite ice cream sundaes, or outside with the Brigham's sign, please feel free to share them on this Facebook page so we can all reminisce together," Brigham's wrote on its Facebook Page. Brigham’s has been operating in Hingham since 1954 but owner Pat Halliday has been forced to change its name and ice cream. This comes after Hood Inc. decided to stop production of Brigham’s ice cream. Halliday will change the company’s name to Patti's Place and replace Brigham's ice cream with Giffords ice cream, a company out of Sknowhegan, …

My wife and I drive a perfectly good 2002 Nissan Sentra with 127,318 miles on it. "Stella" has four wheels and gets us from Point A to Point B. We've reached the stage in the life of the car where we don't repair body damage (as you can tell from the accompanying photo). I'm ashamed for my Dad to see it. But hey, it's paid for. Even though I'd love to get 200K miles out of Stella, she has some mechanical problems, like a seized bolt that has left the transmission fluid unchangeable for about eight years. Brigham’s melts away in Hingham Square.
Brigham’s in Hingham Square has been forced to change its name and ice cream after almost 60 years. This comes after Hood, Inc. decided to stop production of Brigham’s ice cream leaving owner Pat Halliday with no choice but to change her Hingham company’s name and ice cream. Halliday will change the company’s name to Patti's Place and keep the same menu, according to the company’s Facebook Page. The Hingham owner will bring in Giffords ice cream, a company out of Sknowhegan, Maine, the Facebook page stated. “ The name and ice cream will be different, but the food, employees, and family-friendly customer service will be the same,” the company posted on Facebook. “We have shopped around for this ice cream to make sure we bring our customers …
