Interfaith Bible Study: Jesus and the Good Samaritan
The Parable of the Good Samaritan is the most famous "teaching story" Jesus told, and we thing of a "Good Samaritan" as anyone who helps a stranger -- we even have "Good Samaritan" laws. But Jesus wasn't the only teacher of his time who told stories like this -- and we need to stretch a little to understand its meaning at the time he told it to the Jews he was teaching. This is the 4th and last in our Interfaith studies of the New Testament, sponsored by the Hingham Hull Religious Leaders Association.
