Author Kevin L. Murphy to Speak at the Cancer Support Community MA South Shore

The Cancer Support Community Massachusetts South Shore (CSC-MSS) will host Kevin L. Murphy, author of Surviving Cancer after Surviving Cancer on Wednesday, April 30 from 6-7 pm at 120 Longwater Drive, Suite 104, Assinippi Park in Norwell.

Murphy will speak about his experience, as a husband/caregiver, moving through diagnosis, treatment and post-cancer treatment life with his wife. He will present his unique perspective on the emotional impact of cancer coming into the life of an individual and couple. He is a former truck driver, teacher and firefighter, who, since 1981, has been a courtroom lawyer. He now resides in Kentucky and is founder of the Phyllis Foundation, a non-profit focusing on getting the word out about the emotional impact of cancer on the lives of individuals and couples.
