Quincy Youth Travels to Nashville for Model UN Conference
Benjamin Martin of Quincy, a senior at Boston College High School, a member of the school's Model United Nations Club, traveled to Nashville, Tenn for a three day conference at Vanderbilt University. At the assembly, Martin worked in the US Senate committee.
While in Nashville, Martin and his 22 fellow students dined at the historic Wildhorse Saloon, where he learned to dance the two-step.The group also toured Vanderbilt University and visited Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, which included his grave site, mansion, estate and Presidential Library.
Boston College High School is a Jesuit, Catholic, college-preparatory school for young men founded in 1863. The school enrolls approximately 1600 students from more than 100 communities in eastern Massachusetts. For more http://www.bchigh.edu
