Scituate Youths Travel to Nashville for Model UN Conference
Benjamin Smith '15 and Maxwell Tobin '16 of Scituate, students at Boston College High School, and members of the school's Model United Nations Club, traveled to Nashville, Tenn for a three day conference at Vanderbilt University. At the assembly, Smith represented the Republic of Korea in the Security Council and Tobin won a delegate award for his role in the Egypt in Transition Committee.
While in Nashville, Smith and Tobin and their 21 fellow students dined at the historic Wildhorse Saloon, where they learned to dance the two-step.The group also toured Vanderbilt University and visited Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, which included his grave site, mansion, estate and Presidential Library.
Boston College High School is a Jesuit, Catholic, college-preparatory school for young men founded in 1863. The school enrolls approximately 1600 students from more than 100 communities in eastern Massachusetts. For more http://www.bchigh.edu
