Wahlburgers TV Show Scene Shot in Braintree Friday

Word is the filming was taking place for the show based on the Hingham burger joint and the Walhberg family.

Customers at Staples in Braintree Friday morning found themselves in the midst of a reality television show.

Two notes on the front doors of the office supply store on Grossman Drive let them know that the A&E network was in the process of filming, and that by entering, customers "irrevocably" granted "the right to photograph your image and record your voice, and to own, license assign and/or use the same (and/or any portion thereof) forever and throughout the world..."

A lot to grant for the right to buy a few reams of paper, perhaps, but the real question is: What show?

Producers with A&E in the store Friday morning declined to provide any details, aside from saying the show would premiere in February.

However, the appearance of one person milling around a crowd of A&E staff in the cell phone section provided a giant clue.

It was unclear on a passing glance what Alma Wahlberg was purchasing at Staples, but without a doubt she was being stalked by cameras for the unscripted TV show based on the Walhberg family's Wahlburgers restaurant in Hingham.

The show, to appear on A&E, will go behind the scenes of the burger joint and will feature brothers Mark Wahlberg, Donnie Wahlberg and Paul Wahlberg, the executive chef of Wahlburgers and Alma Nove, another restaurant in the Hingham Shipyard, named after the family matriarch.

No word if the large signs warning entrants that they will not earn any money and be barred from suing the network turned anyone away, but the dozen or so men and women with cameras, microphones, walkie talkies and clipboards appeared to outnumber customers by a healthy margin.
