Alma Nove Serves Aphrodisiacs For Valentine's Day

Alma Nove is cooking up a Valentine’s Day  affair to remember with a selection of aphrodisiac inspired specials. Using ingredients proven to send sparks flying, Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg hopes to  ignite the hearts of South Shore lovers in his intimate waterfront restaurant.

The Lucky Devil Cocktail

This liquid love potion is a concoction of Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, cinnamon, cardamom, and Saffron rock candy. 

These spices have been proven to produce heat within the body and date back to the ancient Roman times.

Wood Grilled Hearts of Endive

Baby greens, roasted pistachio, fresh goat cheese, Passion fruit vinaigrette.

Pan Roasted Island Creek Oysters

Horseradish aioli, pancetta crumbs.

Wood Grilled Petit Filet

Pan seared dayboat scallops, golden potato puree, balsamic brown butter, crispy shallots.

Sauteed Lobster

Roasted fennel hearts, sweet crab cornbread stuffing, aged sherry lobster cream.

The Dream Girl Dessert

Finally, Alma Nove seals the deal with a tasting of house-made truffles, dark chocolate and raspberries  paired with the Dark Lady Pinotage dessert wine.
