Filming Begins for New Wahlburgers Reality Show; Crew Asks Patrons to Sign Waivers

On Monday, TV crews were seen inside the restaurant interviewing Chef Paul Wahlberg’s mother.

If you eat at Wahlburgers this week, you may be filmed by the History Channel.

Over the next 3-4 days, a film crew will be at Wahlburgers shooting for their new reality show and Mark and Donnie Wahlberg may be making appearances, the Wahlburgers Facebook Page posted on Monday afternoon.

On Monday, TV crews were seen inside the restaurant interviewing Chef Paul Wahlberg’s mother, Alma as she sat beside Wahlburgers CEO Rick Vanzura.

Crews also made guests sign waivers if they were shot on camera.

On the  restaurant’s front entrance, the History Channel posted two signs that warned patrons that they may be videotaped or recorded.  The signs read:

“The event taking place in the area is being videotapes/recorded for a cable channel network program.  By entering this area you hereby irrevocably grant to HISTORY CHANNEL the right to photograph your image and record your voice, and to own license, assign and/or use the same (and/or any portion thereof) forever and throughout the world in any manner and/or medium including, without limitation, in HISTORY CHANNEL and other programming and the advertising and promotion thereof.  You will not receive any payment for such use and waive any right to bring any action in law or equity against HISTORY CHANNEL…”

The reality show has not announced when it will air on cable television. They are expected to be filming tonight during the after party of Mark Wahlberg’s special screening of Broken City at the Patriot Cinemas at the Hingham Shipyard.
