Mark Wahlberg Talks Wahlburgers TV Show on Leno

The Hingham-based burger joint is the focus of an A&E show.

Mark Wahlberg spoke with Jay Leno on the Tonight Show Tuesday night, talking about his criminal past and recent high school diploma, losing and gaining weight for movies and his family's upcoming reality show on A&E.

The show, premiering Jan. 22 at 10:30 p.m., will go behind the scenes of the burger joint Wahlburgers at the Hingham Shipyard.

Brothers Donnie and Paul Wahlberg, the executive chef at Wahlburgers and Alma Nove, will also be on the show along with their mother Alma.

"It's not Jersey Shore reality," Wahlberg told Leno, "It's a docu-series about building a family business."

"It's a great American story of coming from nothing, building a business, building a brand," he added.
