New Memory Care Assisted Living Program to Open in Hingham

The upcoming opening at the Allerton House is in response to an overwhelming need for memory care services in Hingham.

Welch Healthcare & Retirement Group will open a  new Memory Care Assisted Living Program at the Hingham Allerton House in Crow Point. 

The program will be designed for older adults who have Alzheimer’s disease or a related memory disorder,  PRWeb.com reported.

  • Specialized, trained staff
  • State-of-the-art secure environment
  • Meaningful individualized activities
  • Resident Assistants available 24-hours a day.

It is expected to open in Fall of 2013 and will feature 13 rental apartments, including 10 studios and three companion suites, according to PRWeb.

Richard Welch, president, Welch Healthcare & Retirement Group told PRWeb that the opening of the program is in response to an overwhelming need for memory care services in a supportive residential setting.

The opening comes just a year after Bridges By EPOCH opened on Sgt. William B. Terry Drive, Hingham.  EPOCH is also a memory care assisted living community.
