PHOTOS: Customers Indulge in Chocolate Fest in Hingham

An evening full of chocolate.

Maybe it's the chocolate covered bacon, or the chili flavored fondue, but Judy Violette looks forward to "Chocolate Fest" at Whole Foods Market all year.

"Every year I call and find out when it's going to be," she said.

The Rockland resident joined Victoria Fletcher of Weymouth and her children on Monday for the annual Valentine's Day event at the Derby Street Shoppes.

Employees at the store gave out a variety of free chocolate to customers.  Samples ranged from black salt caramel to bacon smothered in chocolate and marshmallow.

Fletcher's favorite was the bacon while others enjoyed the chocolate bananas and the chocolate cereal bites.

Whole Foods described the annual celebration as a "great event to get you inspired for Valentine's day, to feed your chocolate cravings."
