Wahlburgers Reality Show Pilot To Be Filmed Tuesday

The pilot for the reality show will be filmed at the after-party for Mark Wahlberg’s special Hingham movie screening of "Broken City."

Filming for the Wahlburgers reality show will begin on Tuesday.

Chef Paul Wahlberg told the Boston Globe that the pilot for the show will be filmed at the after-party for Mark Wahlberg’s special Hingham movie screening of Broken City.

The Hingham chef said the pilot will focus on what it takes to run the Wahlburgers restaurant and will include both his celebrity brothers Mark and Donnie.

On Tuesday, all three brothers will be at the Shipyard for the screening of Mark's newest movie.  Two lucky fans also have a chance to meet the Hollywood celebrity and attend the after party at Wahlburgers.

I hope the reality show works after all has gone on with their business manger and ceo. Has not been a good year for the Wahlburgers. But when it comes down to it.. it is the food not the fame and glory.

I wish the best for Chef Paul Whalberg. Unfortunately I have some serious critiques in the event that the Chef gets this, I would appreciate his time and thought. I was there last week. We arrived late in the day after walking the dogs along the pier. We entered with great anticipation. Upon arrival all was fine, but the atmosphere was cool rather than warm. That may be just my opinion, but I always feel a restaurant that features hamburgers should emote warmth. It was not the most important reason for my dislike. It was the inconsistency of how the order was taken. I understand the legal reasons for when people order "rare" - but in this case all you could order was rare, medium or well done. This should have given me a hint. I therefore, ordered medium. First mistake. The friendly server took my friend's order with no question on how it was to be done. The answer was because her order was only "done that way." I find that a bit hard to believe, the bottom line, the deadnet, is simply that the burgers were so awful that they made McDonald's look good. I do not eat at McD's.For constructive criticism, take your 1/3lb. patties and condense them to have double the thickness and promote serving two or three as an entree. Result: juiceness that you expect and you end up with a higher average ticket. Onion rings made a great placemat fabric but a lousy couch. Prepared fine, but should act as accoutrement to the different burgers.

As an addition, I do want to thank the staff of the restaurant for deducting the price of the burger my dining friend got, since it was overdone for her liking. And, a serious mistake in mispelling Chef Wahlberg's name. My apologies.
