South Shore Bank Hingham Financial Center to Host Hiring Practices Seminar

South Shore Bank will host a seminar for small businesses on best practices for hiring employees, on Wednesday, April 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at their Financial Center at 99 South Street in Hingham. 

            Designed to help employers improve their hiring process and avoid potential liability, the seminar will provide practical tips on topics including:

·         Job advertising;

·         Employment applications;

·         The interview process;

·         Background checks;

·         Offer letters; and

·         Employment contracts.

The seminar will be led by Jenifer M. Pinkham, an attorney with the firm of Schlossberg, LLC, in Braintree.
