Hingham Patch Editor Will Shave Head If Facebook Page Reaches 1k Likes

Help Hingham Patch reach 1,000 Likes: http://www.facebook.com/HinghamPatch

My faithful Patch colleague, Hingham editor Tony Catinella, has pledged to shave his head if the Hingham Patch Facebook fan page reaches 1000 fans by Oct.1, and I think this is both a great, but multilayered offer.

Tony's willingness to shear his lovely locks (albeit not long locks) shows his commitment not only to Hingham Patch, but to the Hingham community! But Tony has nice hair. Sure he puts a lot of hair product into it, but many older men with less luscious locks must envy Tony's tufts.

But I must warn Tony - you're only young once, enjoy your hair while you've got it. I've never met Tony's father, or his mother's father (they say that's who has the hair gene in families), but Tony, it's possible you may not have hair when you're older. Do you really want to shave it now? Also, what about the ladies? Ladies love guys with hair. Well, there are those women who like guys with shaved heads, but isn't that because they fell in love with a guy who happens to be bald?

Either way, I think it would be great if the Hingham Patch Facebook fan page got 1,000 fans because Tony will shave his head. He could shave his head at a public event! Maybe everyone else could do it, too - and it could be a charitable event!

Start it now, Hingham! The Great Hingham Hair Off! Good luck, Tony! I'll be ready to shear your head when you hit 1,000
