Bridges by EPOCH hosts educational session on nutrition and Alzheimer’s

Good nutrition is an important part of caring for anyone with Alzheimer’s. There have been many studies linking Alzheimer’s and nutrition. More and more, the evidence indicates that proper nutrition is essential to maintaining a healthy brain, and that proper eating plays a major role in cognition, memory and various neurological disorders—including Alzheimer’s disease.

Join us at Bridges by EPOCH, 1 Sgt. William B Terry Drive in Hingham, on Monday, January 28, at 4 p.m. for an educational session on nutrition and Alzheimer’s.  Learn about what foods are most important for your loved one to eat, along with how to prepare several easy, healthy meals for them at home. The session will be hosted by Executive Director Alicia Seaver, a certified memory-care specialist.

All are welcome to attend this informative, complimentary presentation, but reservations are requested.  Light refreshments will be served. For more information or to RSVP, please call 781-749-7114.
