Tree Lighting and Check Presentation to Red Cross

You know you're in downtown Hingham when you see the red door that started it all for Talbots but there's another tradition associated with this legendary store. It began with a tree. The giant spruce in front of this 16th century Colonial-style building has been the town's Christmas tree for decades. It's said that the lighting of this 50+ foot beauty signals the start of the giving season throughout the South Shore. This year, Talbots is lighting the tree in combination with a special check presentation to the American Red Cross for disaster relief efforts. Join Talbots in kicking off the season in true class style.
