The Artist's Way

The Artist's Way

Facilitator:  Kay Trask, M.Ed.

For all who want to live more creatively, this 12-week spiritual program is based on the book, "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron.  Learn how to discover or recover your own creative self by following a spiritual path to higher creativity that consists of readings and exercises from the book, writing daily "morning pages" and participating in weekly "artist dates."  Participants must be willing to commit a few hours weekly to accomplish the tasks.  Participants should purchase the book, "The Artist's Way" before the first meeting.  Books are available at the Glastonbury Abbey bookstore or online.

Kay Trask was an administrator for many years at Emmanuel College where she directed all of the college's academic support services:  the Peer Tutoring Program, the Writing Center, the Disability Support Services and the Writing Fellows Program.  She also taught various courses in writing, and in learning and motivation theories.

Suggested weekly donation: $10.00.
