Girls Scouts Help Animals For Their Bronze Award

Girls Scouts Help Animals For Their Bronze Award

by Hope Thompson, Junior Girl Scout

Hingham Girl Scout Troop #74005 is unleashing lots of love and care for local animal rescues, as part of our Bronze Award project, Paws for a Cause. We are holding a pet adoption and pet care collection event to benefit Hull Seaside Animal Rescue and the Massachusetts Humane Society. Come meet some adoptable dogs and cats, get tips from local vets, bring your donations and pet supplies, and have a chance to win fun giveaways at our “Pet Adoption Day.” The event will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014, from 10:00am — 1:00pm at Bare Cove Fire Museum, 45 Bare Cove Park Drive, Hingham. Admission is free. Anyone who donates bottles/cans or goods at the event will also receive a chance to win one of two raffle baskets. The museum will be open for tours as well. For more information including the animal shelter wish list, or to make other donation arrangements, visit us at www.hinghamgirlscouts.org. You can also contact Dana Donnelly at secretary@hinghamgirlscouts.org or call 781-749-4795. We hope to see you there!
