Hingham Man Critical After Being Shot Twice By Police

A Hingham man is listed in critical condition after being shot twice by police early Sunday morning, according to The Boston Globe.

A Hingham man who was shot twice by a local police officer early Sunday morning is expected to survive but is currently listed in critical condition, The Boston Globe is reporting.

Brian Middendorf, 33, was shot in the right thigh and arm after he reportedly pointed a black plastic pellet gun at Hingham police officers, Plymouth District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz told The Globe.

According to the report, an investigation into whether officers followed proper protocol is being conducted by the State Police.
