Hingham Police Offering RAD Classes For Women

The program is free and is for women ages 15 and older. The instructor is School Resource Officer Tom Ford.

The Hingham Police Department will be offering a RAD women's self defense course for five Saturdays from February 9th to March 9th. Classes will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Hingham Senior Center at Hingham Town Hall.

The program is free and is for women ages 15 and older. The instructor is School Resource Officer Tom Ford.

During the last 5 years the Hingham Police have offered this class, it's been common for mothers and daughters to attend this program together. In addition to developing and enhancing their options of self-defense, it seems to be a great bonding experience for them.
