Hyde Park Woman Fined for Shoplifting From Hingham CVS

Sitaras Bridgeman, 39, of 265 Margareta Drive, Hyde Park, was found guilty in Hingham District Court of second-offense shoplifting by concealing merchandise and was fined $100. The charge stemmed from a Aug. 25, 2012 incident in Hingham at 10 p.m. when police were dispatched to CVS, 405 Lincoln St., for a report of two women shoplifters who left the scene in a SUV with items they did not pay for.

Lisa M. Dunstan, 28, of 10A First Ave., Halifax was arraigned in Hingham District Court on a charge of shoplifting by asportation. The charge will be dismissed upon payment of $100 in court costs. The charge stemmed from a July 23, 2012 incident in Hingham at 2:10 p.m. when police were dispatched to Kohls Department Store for a report of a suspected shoplifter being monitored by loss prevention.

Taunton Man Charged with Assault and Battery

John F. Donovan, 41, of 18 Jefferson St., Apt. 3, Taunton was arraigned in Hingham District Court on a charge of assault and battery. The case was continued to Feb. 11. Donovan was released on personal recognizance. The charge stems from a Dec. 5, 2012 incident in Hingham at 30 Thaxter St. where police responded to a report of an unwanted guest and a woman, possibly armed with two knives, yelling at a man to leave the premises.

N.Y. Man Faces Larceny Charges

Francesco Ciaccio, 36, of 111 Hamilton St., Amityville, N.Y., is scheduled to be arraigned in Hingham District Court on Feb. 13 on charges of larceny over $250 by false pretense and larceny from a person. The charges stem from a Nov. 2, 2012 incident in Hingham following an investigation into an alleged marketing and promotion scam.
