Police Log: Car Flips After Hitting Pole on New Years Eve

December 31:
At 9:23 a.m. a caller reported someone shot a pellet gun at his window on Industrial Park Road.
At 11:12 a.m. Hingham police arrested a Nashua, NH man for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

At 4:00 p.m. a caller at Ray’s Mobil Station on Whiting Street reported a male loiterer.
At 5:26 p.m. a caller reported she flipped her vehicle after striking a pole on Free Street. The caller was the only person in the vehicle during the crash and she was not injured. The pole was reported damaged.

At 6:18 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Hingham Lobster Pound on Broad Cove Road. The fire started while the vehicle owner was trying to jump an engine.
At 8:57 p.m. police arrested a 21-year-old Braintree man for operating a vehicle without a license on Kilby Street.
At 11:37 p.m. a caller reported disturbing fireworks on Howe Street.
