Police Log: Hingham Man Arrested For Kidnapping, Assault and Battery

The following excerpt is from the Hingham police log from Tuesday, January 22.

Tuesday, January 22:

At 2:05 p.m. an employee from Joseph A. Bank at teh Derby Street Shoppes reported a theft from Monday.

At 2:13 p.m. a worker reported his window’s vehicle was smashed on Shipyard Drive.

At 4:52 p.m. police arrested Michael Chase, age 41 of Ward Street, Hingham  on warrant charges for kidnapping and assault and battery.

At 6:00 p.m. a caller reported a resident threw bags of thrash at her front door on Indian Rock Lane.

At 8:53 p.m. a caller reported youths in a minivan were throwing eggs at people at the intersection of Harvard Drive and High Street.

At 10:43 p.m. police arrested a 48-year-old Weymouth man for driving with a suspended license on Lincoln Street.
