Police Log: Kids Offend Frozen Yogurt Customers, Dog Breaks Skin, Man Spotted With Gun

The following excerpts are from the Hingham police log from Thursday, January 17 to Saturday January 19. The arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, January 17:

At 12:21 p.m. police arrested Angela DeAngelis, age 43 of Abington for larceny from the Kohl’s Department Store.  DeAngelis allegedly stole merchandise worth over $250.

At 3:01 p.m. a caller on Fisher Road reported a squirrel was in her home.

Friday, January 18:

At 12:31 a.m. police arrested a 17-year-old Marshfield man for driving with a suspended license at the intersection of Grenadier Road and Main Street.

At 11:34 a.m. a caller on Bradley Park Drive reported a suspicious man wearing black and ringing door bells and walking in the neighborhood.

At 1:57 p.m. police arrested Marcia Blake, 54 of Hingham for operating under the influence of drugs after a head on crash. SEE STORY.

At 5:34 p.m. a caller reported a male shoplifter at the CVS on Lincoln Street.

Saturday, January 19:

At 2:03 p.m. a caller reported a dog bit a man and broke his skin at the Wompatuck State Park.

At 4:25 p.m. a caller reported a man with a gun at Kress Field.  The caller stated he was pointing it into the woods.

At 6:53 p.m. an employee at Red Mango reported problems with a group of kids who were offending customers.

At 9:20 p.m. a caller reported kids possibly smoking marijuana on Bonnie Brier Circle.
