Police Log: Ledger Delivery Mistaken as Suspicious Activity, Odd Behavior at Patriot Cinemas

The following excerpts are from the Hingham police log. The arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Dec. 27:

At 1:12 p.m., police responded to the Fruit Center for a report of suspicious behavior. A male, who was gone on arrival, had been asking for money outside of the store and wouldn't leave.

At 2:28 p.m., a caller at 11 Blaisdell Rd. reported that a Tan Nissan Sentra pulled all the way up the driveway of the home and stayed for a minute with loud music playing. There was a male and a female in the car. After responding, an officer reported that it was a Patriot Ledger delivery.

At 5:23 p.m., emergency responders went to Downer Ave. and Lincoln St. for a two-car accident. No airbags deployed and no transportation required.

At 5:37 p.m., an accident at Derby Street near the highway did not require transportation.

At 5:37 p.m., police went to Patriot Cinemas after the manager reported that a bald man in his 40s walked in with a large duffel bag, went into several theatres and then disappeared. Police could not locate the man.
