Police Log: Man Finds Footsteps on Property, Wires and Trees Down After Strong Wind

The following excerpts are from the Hingham police logs from January 30-31.

Wednesday, January 30:

At 2:00 p.m. a caller reported seeing footsteps leading to his window on Monday night on Tower Road. 

At 6:20 p.m. a caller reported a white pick up truck hit a vehicle and then struck a telephone pole on Whiting Street.  SEE STORY.

At 2:21 a.m. a caller reported a tree was down on Chief Justice Cushing Highway  tree down jcushhwy

At 2:56 a.m. a caller reported a tree blocking the road on Cedar Street.

At 3:06 a.m. a caller reported a tree down on the 200 block of Cushing Street.

At 4:35 a.m. a caller reported a vehicle struck a low hanging wire on Cliffort Ct.

At 4:40 a.m. a caller reported a transformer on fire on Chestnut Street.

At 6:15 a.m. a caller reported wires down on the 400 block of Lincoln Street.

At 7:01 a caller reported a at entrance of the Plymouth River School.

At 8:03 a.m. a caller reported wires down at the East School.

At 8:50 a.m. a caller reported wires down on Sayles Road.
