Police Log: MBTA Bus Involved in Accident, Ski Pants Stolen

The following excerpt is from the Hingham police log from Wednesday, January 16.

Wednesday, January 16:

At 7:34 a.m. a caller reported a car hit a pole on the 200 block of Main Street.  The driver was dazed but uninjured.

At 10:40 a.m. an employee at the Shoe Market at the Derby Street Shoppes reported an identity fraud.

At 11:37 a.m. a caller reported an MBTA bus was involved in a crash near the Old Navy and Sleepy’s at the Hingham Shipyard.  The caller reported damage to the rear of the bus and front of a vehicle.


At 2:34 p.m. an employee at REI reported ski pants and a ski jacket were stolen from the Derby Street store.

At 5:26 p.m. a caller at the intersection of School and Short Street reported kids throwing snowballs at cars.
