Police Log: Hull Man Arrested For Stealing From Elderly Person, Neighborhood Dispute Over Dog

The following excerpt is from the Hingham police log from Friday, February 1. The arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, February 1:

At 10:13 a.m. a caller reported a tree was blocking Side Hill Road.

At 12:09 p.m. a caller reported a hit and run accident in the Whole Foods Market parking area.

At 4:55 p.m. a caller reported a wire fell on a house on Pine Street.

At 9:49 p.m. police arrested John Mulloy, 32 of Hull on warrant charges at the Hingham Police Station.  Mulloy is being charged with larceny from a person over the age of 65-years-old.

At 10:29 p.m. a caller reported a neighbor on Hobart Street kept leaving a dog in a vehicle for hours, and the barking is disturbing to the neighborhood. This caller reported the incident has been reoccurring.

At 11:08 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious man looking inside the Tedeschi’s on South Street and writing information down.
